What we do
Wills & Estate Planning
We help people knit their Wills and Estate Planning all together so everything doesn’t fall apart when they’re not around.
Retirement & Ageing
We help the elderly, retirees and empty nesters embark on their new adventures within new communities among new friends.
We help clients obtain the relevant and necessary authority to deal with their loved one’s affairs after they’re gone.
Our director, Michele Davis, is a mediator and collaborative law practitioner with specialised training in wills & estates matters.
Our Principal Lawyer, Director & Mediator, Michele Davis, believes in being authentic, empathetic and is most proud of her ability to make people feel comfortable, heard and at ease.
Michele has over 10 years experience as a succession lawyer and has practised almost exclusively in Wills & Estates for her whole career. Michele has a Masters of Laws (Wills & Estates), is an Adjunct Lecturer and National Practice Area Leader for the College of Law (Wills & estates and Estate Planning specialities) and recently commenced her PhD in law, focusing on succession law. Michele is an advocate for wellbeing within the legal profession and is the founder of a community mentoring and skill-building initiative, Hello Law.
Michele is a published author and co-author of legal resources in the areas of succession law and is regularly invited to speak and write for multiple legal conference producers and legal publishers on topics of interest to the industry as a whole.
Whilst Michele is considered an expert on wills, estates and elder law, she is not your average lawyer and is often spoken of as one of the most empathetic, kind and passionate lawyers you will find.
How we work
We are a virtual law firm which means we don’t have an office (and the lease payments that comes with it) and provide our services using flexible and accessible technology (including phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Facetime etc) offerings to support clients through their matters with us. This also means that we can help you from wherever you are.
As a mediator, Michele offers extensive legal expertise coupled with reasonable fees, making dispute resolution accessible for even the smallest of estates.
We have a range of packages designed for you and we offer bespoke services; all of which are offered on a fixed fee basis For our estate planning packages, we have a simple process; there is an initial fixed fee of $330.00 due on your first meeting and the remainder of your fees are due when your documents are delivered. It’s that simple.
What others are saying
Michele’s communication style has always been so eloquent, concise and clear. Michele has an innate ability to communicate her message very effectively, with ease and humanity. Having worked with Michele in practice, I have always found her very adaptable to any style of communication and for whatever purpose or audience. I highly recommend Michele; she is an asset to the profession and the community as a whole.Nikki Gough, Principal Lawyer & Director, Gough Law Pty Ltd
Michele was amazing, when helping us buy our first home. Meetings able to be held in our home and outside of business hours, which was extremely convenient for a busy family. Michele also took the time to explain the process and contracts to us, in a way we could understand. Naturally, this helped take a lot of the stress and fear away, as we knew what was happening each step of the way. Highly recommend Michele and her fabulous services!Client, Flagstone, Queensland
